A plastic ball was placed on his hands, gently floating in mid-air. Taemin was just sitting there near the corner of a wall, watching as he saw barely any people crossing in front of him. For a minute he felt like some inane reprobate, pulling his cheek playfully to conjure out his boredom. Wanting someone to play with, his slight habit of looking cute and squishable came out to lure any of the people walking by. Was there someone he could snatch?

The quiet silence surrounded Taemin as he sipped his banana milk. His fingers swirled around in a circle, keeping his balance of floating in the air. A huge sigh became audible through his mouth, his eyes becoming heavier each second. Taemin was seriously bored. 

His fingers became tired before his legs started to touch the ground again. Sipping the last liquid in the bottle, he threw the bottle out into the trash and walked down the streets. The quiet streets that used to be so full.

Smiling brightly in return, she shrugged and let out another clear and giggly laugh. 

“Well I’m good, just enjoying the weather today. Normally I don’t enjoy weather during the day because the sun is out, but today seems like an exception.”

She stretched her arm out and sighed contently, randomly doing a cartwheel to show her happiness. Getting up too quickly from the cartwheel, her glazed golden brown eyes widened before her body readjusted back to a standing position. 

Laughing at Yuri doing a cartwheel, he had the slight urge to do the same thing. “The sun’s always nice though!~” He exclaimed with another chuckle. “It’s not like you’re going to burn or anything.” Taemin’s hands positioned flat on the ground, ready to do what his noona has done. His feet dangled high in the air before landing straight back onto the ground, making a big thud. Body laying parallel to the dirt, his chest moved up and down as he idiotically laughed at his fail.

Jonghyun pulled Taemin into a secluded area. He found a bench and took a seat there. He pulled Taemin’s head onto his lap. “Are you tired?” He asked. Jonghyun was still uncomfortable here. He enjoyed his time in the Fire Nation but he was glad to be leaving.

Encircling his arm around the other’s, he tightened the grip softly after they both sat down on the bench. Only nodding at the question Jonghyun gave, his head started to stagger left to right. Taemin’s cheek laid on his hyung’s shoulder again, slowly drifting into a light nap.

“Well…. LETS GO!” Jonghyun pulled Taemin up and grabbed his wrist, pulling him along. “We’ll be there soon!” He ran even faster and pulled Taemin. A couple minutes passed before they finally made it to the dock. Jonghyun didn’t stop until they were on board. He looked around and pulled Taemin closer. “Stay close to me… okay?” He didn’t want Taemin socializing with Fire Benders.

He didn’t say a word, but just nodded at the older, not questioning a bit. Taemin’s cheek slowly laid on Jonghyun’s shoulder, wobbling at the feeling that he got a little sleepy. His half-opened eyes looked at the other Fire Benders around them, wondering why he couldn’t get close to them. A sigh came out of his mouth, his cheek nudging on the hyung’s shoulder as he fully closed his eyes.

Jonghyun ruffled his hair. “Well you won’t be alone, i’ll just not always be with you… It’ll work out, you’ll see.” He used his fingers to pull Taemin’s cheeks into a smile. “See theres the happy Taemin I know and love.” He snuggled Taemin into him more. “You’re such a child sometimes… Do you want to go on the ferry now? I’ll go with you… To the Earth Kingdom and stuff, if you want. I need to get out of here anyways.” 

His normal personality slowly coming back, Taemin smiled even wider and hugged his hyung. “I’m a child, it’s what I am.” He tried to laugh the low depression out. Happy to hear the words his hyung expressed, he sat on Jonghyun’s lap even more, tightly hugging the older’s neck. “Let’s go!” He exclaimed with a jubilant tone.

Jonghyun noticed the odd behavior that had overcome Taemin. He didn’t like it at all. “Taeminnie, what’s wrong?” Jonghyun sat by Taemin and pulled him into his lap. He hugged him close. “I know you aren’t okay, so don’t bother hiding it.” Jonghyun poked Taemin’s cheek and gave him a light smile. 

AND I’LL LOVE IT ALL THE WAY LOL.

The warmth of his hyung absorbed through Taemin’s skin, a little smile exposed at the creases of his lips. “I’m okay, really.” He tried to explain. It was a little hard for him to say what he wanted to say. “I just.. don’t want to be alone again.” And again, his eyes wandered back to the darkness of the ground.
